TandemLaunch Inc., including its many innovative technology projects that may eventually graduate and become independent startups (“TandemLaunch”), cares deeply about your privacy. This Privacy Policy covers how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. Note that once projects graduate from TandemLaunch, as separate corporate entities, they will then have their own privacy policies. Collection and Use

TandemLaunch may ask you to provide personal or non-personal information (personal information is any data that can personally identify you) in order to develop products, services, content or marketing. You are not required to provide the information requested. However, if you choose not to do so, in many cases we will not be able to provide you with products or services or respond to your inquiries.

What we collect

Information you provide. When you purchase a product, download or use software (such as an SDK or API), contact us or participate in surveys and product trials, we may collect a variety of information, including your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, contact preferences and credit card information. TandemLaunch will use this information to fulfill your requests, provide you with, or improve, the relevant product or service, or for anti-fraud purposes. Government issued ID may be requested if required by law.

Information we acquire when you use one of our services. With your explicit consent, we collect information about the services or products that you use and how you use them. This information may include device information, server log information, unique application numbers, location information. For visitors to our website, we collect analytical data such as time spent on our webpages, number of clicks leading to our other webpages, pages viewed, and other information relating to your experience on our website. If you do not want to receive cookies on your computer, you must select the appropriate settings in your browser’s options. Each browser has their own options and management tools relating to cookies.

We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information from children below the age of consent. If we learn that we have collected personal information of someone below the age of consent in the relevant legal jurisdiction without first receiving verifiable parental consent we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to track performance and provide statistics that helps us optimize our website. It allows us to gather data that is not linked to an identifiable individual. The data collected are time spent on our website, clicks on our website, and number of views on webpages. In addition to that, it tracks data on google ad clicks leading to our website (conversions).

LinkedIn Insight

LinkedIn InsightTag 2.0 allows us to track website conversions and gather data from our LinkedIn ads. The data gather helps us optimize our marketing campaigns on LinkedIn in order to improve our recruitment strategies. LinkedIn Insight also provides data on the demographic that visits our website. This data can be job titles, companies, industries which allows us to target demographic of interest in our recruitments efforts.

How we use it

For TandemLaunch Projects. The information collected is used by TandemLaunch internally to develop its projects and to keep you posted on the latest TandemLaunch announcements and upcoming events. If a project graduates and leaves TandemLaunch – becoming a separate corporate entity – we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of any personal information and give affected users notice before personal information is transferred or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

For External Processing. Information may be provided to trusted businesses (such as cloud hosting services) or other persons to process for us strictly based on our instructions and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

For Legal Purposes. We will share personal information with third parties if necessary to meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable government request. We may also disclose personal information if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce associated terms and conditions for various products and services. Additionally, it may be shared to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, technical issues or protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of TandemLaunch and our partners as required or permitted by law.

Retention, Destruction, and Limited Use

We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Data that have fulfilled their purposes shall be destroyed or upon request by the party involved.

How we secure it

We take the security of your personal information very seriously. When your personal information is stored by TandemLaunch, we use firewall secured computer systems with limited access housed in facilities using physical security measures. We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access.

When utilizing a product or service incorporating social networking elements, you may have the ability to share personal information through the product or service that other users can read, collect or use. You are responsible for the information you choose to share or submit in these instances. For example, if you list your e-mail address in a forum, that information is public. Please ensure care is taken when you use these products or services.

Only authorized personnel will have access to the personal information collected that is relevant to their need and as defined by the purpose of the collection.

When the Privacy Policy applies

This Privacy Policy applies to all of the services and products offered by TandemLaunch and its projects but excludes services and products that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.

TandemLaunch products and services may contain links to third-party websites, products and services. Our products and services may also use such third party products and services. Information collected by third parties is governed by their privacy practices. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with these privacy practices.
