Eleonora joined TandemLaunch in 2015 to help talented entrepreneurs turn cutting-edge research into consumer technology products. As Chief of Staff, Eleonora supports the Managing Partners in activities at the interface between the operations of the foundry and the governance of the portfolio. Eleonora also oversees the TandemLaunch Entrepreneur-in-Residence program, where she guides entrepreneurs into their journey into the foundry, from their venture ideation to their graduation from the program. Since joining TandemLaunch in 2015, Eleonora has led the recruitment of over 100 entrepreneurs and executives, and has coordinated the growth of over 20 ventures while in the program. A scientist at heart, Eleonora is an experimental physicist and holds a PhD in Physics. Prior to TandemLaunch, she worked as a researcher in both Canadian and European Universities and research institutions. Her research activity was positioned at the interface between condensed-matter physics, optoelectronics, photonics, and physical chemistry. While TandemLaunch may seem a world away from that life, she still gets to work on some of the most impactful problems and cutting-edge technologies on the planet.
