Mahdis graduated from McGill University with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Software Engineering. Her research backgrounds are often at the intersection of those two fields. She worked for a year at Polytechnique Montreal in the field of mechatronics, with a special focus on robotics and computer vision, before moving to Concordia University, where she worked on developing a computer stimulation for different cardiovascular pathologies. Within her role at TandemLaunch, Mahdis helps locate cutting-edge technologies as well as support the ventures throughout their development.
